RSgoldfast RuneScape: In the final moments of the Endgame
While the massively-multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) genre at large is known for each individual title having an immense amount of content to justify years-long subscriptions, Jagex's RuneScape stands out for its legacy. It has been available for free since 2001. It has since changed several times and most recently, it was an HTML-based game with RuneScape 3 rather than the Java-based Old School RuneScape. Both versions are played to this day and the developer from the UK is preparing to include new content in RuneScape by releasing the desperate Measures update.
The previous Friday Jagex released the 30 second trailer of Desperate Measures The new major quest that will be available on the 27th of July. The trailer encourages players to find out the hidden secrets with the game's latest Archaeology ability, and fight to survive against the aforementioned creatures, such as dinosaurs, which will be introduced into RuneScape in the year 2019. and finally help save the world from menace of the hero who's "fallen into darkness." RSgoldfast spoke to Jagex lead designer David Osborne, Senior Games Designer Tim Fletcher, and Lead Content Developer James Crowther about Desperate Measures and how it will impact the game in the future and what it was like to create the update at home. Desperate Measures is a sequel to Desperate Times and Desperate Times, so what should players be aware of about the first game to be prepared for what's coming following?
In the final moments of the Endgame the player was brought in contact in front of the God known as the Elder Jas One Creators of all the Universe. Jas isn't convinced about the existence of the existence of mortal life since it was not considered a part of their grand plan which is why she gave the player a deadline: "Prove that mortal life has a right to exist or we'll destroy it." The request was also echoed by others Elder Gods who were now awakening.
